Veteran Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi continues to prove that age is just a number, delivering outstanding performances in the 2025 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Representing Karachi Kings, Nabi has been one of the standout performers of the tournament so far. Whether it’s breaking partnerships with the ball, finishing matches with the bat, or leading by example on the field, the 40-year-old has been a consistent game-changer for his team.

With his clever off-spin bowling, Nabi has picked up key wickets in pressure situations and maintained a tight economy rate. He has also contributed crucial lower-order runs, including a match-winning 42* off 22 balls in a thrilling chase against Lahore Qalandars.

“My goal is always to stay fit, focused, and help the team win—whether with bat, ball, or experience,” Nabi told reporters after one of his match-winning performances.

Fans and analysts have praised Nabi’s calm demeanor and cricketing IQ, qualities that have helped guide younger players in the Karachi squad. His impact has gone beyond stats—his leadership and mentorship continue to be invaluable assets for the team.

As the PSL heads into its knockout stages, Nabi’s presence gives Karachi Kings a solid foundation. Afghan cricket supporters are thrilled to see their national icon thriving on the international stage once again.
