The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has officially announced its squad for the upcoming ICC Men’s U19 Asia Qualifiers. In a statement, the ACB confirmed that the squad includes 14 main players and 3 reserve players.
The Afghan U19 team is set to face off against Oman, Hong Kong, UAE, and Nepal in the group stages, with matches scheduled for April 13, 14, 16, and 19, respectively.
The ICC Men’s U19 Cricket World Cup Asia Qualifiers 2025 will kick off on April 13, and the tournament will be hosted by Nepal. This provides a significant opportunity for Afghanistan’s young cricketers to showcase their talent on the regional stage.
Ahead of the qualifiers, Afghanistan’s U19 team demonstrated strong form, having recently defeated Nepal 2-1 in a bilateral series on April 9.
